Our proprietary database of over 6,000 active candidates empowers companies to build stronger, more skilled teams while providing candidates with access to meaningful career opportunities.
As a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Torrence recognized the untapped talent within the Divine Nine community and sought to create a solution that both elevates these professionals and meets the growing demand for superior talent in the workforce.

Our Founder
Torrence S. Traynham has dedicated over 15 years to connecting talented individuals with exciting career opportunities. With a background in broadcasting and recruiting, Torrence leverages his extensive network to source top-tier talent from the Divine Nine and beyond.
In addition to founding D9 Resume Exchange, Torrence serves as:
• Executive Director of the D9 Emerging Leaders Fellowship, a non-profit connecting Divine Nine undergraduate students with mentoring, professional coaching, and access to career opportunities.
• Treasurer of the NPHC of NYC, where he manages finances for the council’s community impact initiatives.
• Advisory Board Member for birdSeed, contributing to efforts that foster financial empowerment.
Torrence’s unwavering commitment to service and mentorship has earned him recognition, including the Achievement Award and President’s Award from the NPHC of NYC.
